Home Sweet Home
Buenos Aires is like New York meets Paris with a Latin flair. It's enormous, beautiful, congested, full (of cars, people, parks, cafes, restaurants, shops, sites...), busy but not rushed, and quite frankly - overwhelming. I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of everything - whether it was people, goods, or choices. I spent days just wandering aroung, which I admittedly love. Just walked and walked and took it all in...stopping every now and again for a cup of coffee (sooo good), to people watch, to sit in a garden and litterally smell the roses, or to write in my journal. And of course, I took a few photos...

Ah, San Telmo market...these two were tame compared with some others!
Yes, he was just as creepy looking in person, and no, I would not have gotten that close if he was real!!!
Back in good 'ole Paraguay....we began our summer futbol (soccer) tournament yesterday. Good times :) Rain held off until we were finished for the day, por suerte!
More to come soon... Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and took time to remember all the wonderful people/memories/things/etc....you have in your life.
Sending love and happiness,
Lor

Hey Lor!
I have been having a hard time getting in touch with you! I am on maternity leave and do not have your email on my home computer, I could not remember your blog page and just found it today after some google searching! I have tried responding to your texts but no luck...Please please please email me so I can write back to you and send pics of my baby girl! Lots and lots of love!!! Debbie
Hey Lorien!
Looks like you had a wonderful time in Buenos Aires! Awesome... hope to hear more soon. I'd love to visit, but we think that we might go back to Costa Rica. Flight prices are a little cheaper.
Sending peace and love....

BA looks awesome, and like you got to see much, much more than I did (though I was only there 2 days en route, and part of the first was lost to sleep recovery). I have one question - is it really necessary to "limit" dog walkers to no more than 10 at a time?? Is it possible to do more??
love,
Dad
